As President of OPT USA, Inc. - Americas subsidiary and EVP of Ocean Plastic Technologies - Global, I am working across the globe to create a truly circular plastics economy.

One door closes and another opens; I believe is how the expression goes. It's really more a combination varying degrees of "open" or interaction across many doors in front of you. The term "door" implies that you have yet to interact with the opportunity. Most times this is not the case.

I was interacting with (2)Two doors and one of them was closed forcing me to interact with the other. It happens. It is happening to many people as you hopefully read this.

Whether or not the remaining open door is my destiny remains to be seen. It doesn't always work that way. It certainly has been a passion of mine and will allow me to take my 35 years of logistics experience across almost every vertical and mode and apply it to my life's new passion.

Make no mistake the solution to sustainability is entirely a supply chain and logistics problem.
