There are a number of reasons why we are really excited about the launch of our ILM Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in Executive Coaching & Mentoring.
Of course, there’s the obvious – it’s a really prestigious accreditation to be able to offer; and one that we know will be of real benefit to leaders with whom we have been working.
But the thing that excited us most is that we are going to have the opportunity to curate a programme that is being taught by some of the most exciting and influential thinkers within the Coaching & Mentoring world. The three tutor line-up includes:
Simon Western PhD President elect ISPSO and Adjunct Professor at University College Dublin and an international coach, consultant, keynote speaker, academic and author of two acclaimed books on leadership and coaching. Simon’s coaching expertise is with senior leaders, working on strategy, organisational change and their personal leadership relationships and challenges. Simon holds honorary positions at Birkbeck, Lancaster and Birmingham Universities.
John Blakey MBA MSc Coaching subject matter expert at the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the CEO coaching faculty at Manchester Business School, Executive Coach at Vistage International and working within several FTSE100 companies, UK Sport and the NHS. John co-authored the critically acclaimed book ‘Challenging Coaching’ with Ian Day. The book and its associated FACTS coaching model are essential reading on the course.
John Perry MA MA MSc Principal Teaching Fellow at University of Southampton and subject matter expert in psychology, counselling, communication skills and personal development. Combined with his academic expertise, John has worked as a consultant, trainer and coach and as Managing Director of the UK’s first nationwide student counselling company. He is also a qualified Counsellor and Human Givens Psychotherapist and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
We are running two Certificate cohorts in 2017 – one in London commencing in May, and one in Dublin commencing in September – and participating students can, by individual arrangement, elect to convert their qualification to Diploma level.
