Illusions of competence
There are ways that give the now concerning perception of competence. It erroneously brings comfort that the agent can deliver. Alas!
The disappointment is inexplicably irritating due to the colossal and abysmal inability to deliver.
Wait…can we rightly say that the ability to deliver equals competence?
Here, I choose to overlook minor interpretations and focus on the influence of pretend competence on work, service, and social relationships.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing my thoughts on what I assume to be competence and how this can be veiled. Additionally, I will be sharing what I think is pretend competence and how it may be found out, called out, and disregarded. This is to help limit incompetence in work and social spaces.
