In today’s world, AI also known as Artificial Intelligence has taken a toll of influence on our society. It has embarked on a journey to be utilized in any industry and changing the way we interact and learn about technology. Illuminate Universe does an excellent job of providing sufficient information demonstrating its strength in describing the malfunctions of AI. Below is a review of my learning experience and key takeaways to educate the community by breaking down detailed information regarding AI and its process.

Since the day AI embarked on its path in society, different speculations on what AI has in store for us have come to light. I am sure everyone has heard of the term AI will replace humans and that couldn’t be further from the truth! Illuminate provides a great insight into what and what AI can't do. There are different conditions for what AI can do depending on the given task. The Most common AI known as ChatGPT, is a form of generative AI which is a broad field of Artificial Intelligence, meaning each AI is equipped with many certain fields that operate in their own conditions. However, the misconceptions that come along are that AI is conscious and that it has human intelligence, this is false as AI cannot possess consciousness, emotions, and experiences as it operates based on data processing and algorithms. This falls into the fact that AI is prone to make errors and requires human supervision to operate properly. Thus, eliminating any conceptions that AI will likely overtake humans.

Everyone is aware of ChatGPT, known as the most popular AI tool. However, have you considered what type of AI field ChatGPT is incorporated in? Generative AI is what allows ChatGPT to answer questions in a broader and more general way. This type of AI field focuses on the development of AI, fostering creativity, efficiency, personalization, and scalability. Generative AI is used in different applications such as education, healthcare, creative industries, and agriculture. Thus, demonstrates the potential Generative AI holds to unlock new doors for endless possibilities.

3. ? AI Applications in The Real World

In today’s era where innovation of technology is rapidly increasing, AI has transformed itself not only as a tool but reshaping industries and improving daily lives. Since its introduction, it has taken different roles and fields to further impact our society. Researchers at PWC project a staggering $16 trillion into the global economy, this projection not only stems from the technology but also from other industries like healthcare where Google’s DeepMind developed a system called AlphaFold paving a path for a new medical device solving biomedical problems. AI versatility also impacts industries such as gaming, screenwriting, and data science; providing a simpler and more efficient way for creators to further enhance their work. This also applies to human-machine interactions with revolutionizing medical chatbots and incorporating AI into your daily life with entertainment. Illuminate provides this extensive information to encourage positivity, resilience, and personal growth among students enabling them to learn and promote creativity, highlighting the key messages to foster innovation and the ethical usage of technology. These can be seen when describing the significance of ethical usage in AI and providing detailed information regarding its applications, fostering imagination and creativity for students to work within themselves.

4. ? The Embodiment of AI

The process of how AI works can be challenging to understand and comprehend its functions. As a community leader at Illuminate, here are my insights based on how the learning experience addresses these issues,

Brain Block of AI

As stated in the learning experience, Artificial neural networks (ANNs) use a digital representation of neurons to teach machines how to recognize patterns in data, make judgments, and learn from mistakes; much like humans but not quite the same. The Artificial neural networks are based on two components: Core Concept and Learning Mechanism. These two networks are crucial to imitating the functionality of a human brain, enabling it to process data and make complex decisions without hardcore programming. To add on the brain blockchain, a structural neural network is needed and consists of Layers of Neurons and Perceptrons. The layers of neurons consist of inner subs named Input Layer, Hidden Layer, and Output Layer. Each layer holds multiple neurons that transform the data before passing it to the next one. There are also types of Neural Network types, which each one consists of three unique inner subs that are responsible for a certain task. These networks have given AI the chance to push boundaries and pave the way for new experiences.

Language of AI

-? ? ? ? As we humans have our languages, AI’s do too. Natural Language Processing or NLP is a branch that focuses on enabling machines to read, translate, and produce human language, eliminating any gaps between human and machine understanding. NLP contains two key concepts; Syntax/Semantics and Machine Learning, both concepts assist in understanding the grammatical structure, language translation, etc. They can be seen being utilized in applications like virtual assistants and chatbots.

Summarizing everything that has been stated, the advancement of AI has paved the way we view the technology, it raised both positive and negative concerns regarding what it has in store for us. As a community leader at Illuminate, I have grasped the main concept of what an AI is and its capabilities in our world, understanding that AI is a source of innovation and creativity; allowing its users to go far beyond their abilities. The virtual experience has provided detailed information displaying the impact AI has on our society, highlighting the three biggest takeaways such as the impact it holds on to the global economy, diverse applications, and the significance of ethical usage for AI. This reflection has underlined the significance of the diverse and retaining knowledge regarding the ongoing updates with AI, it also enabled me to understand content creation better specifically around simplifying complex topics for a larger audience. Tips I would recommend to readers are to utilize their time researching and gaining knowledge regarding the topic, familiarize themselves with what comes along, have a deeper interest in it, be dedicated, and embrace ethical leadership in the field. Moreover, network with experienced individuals in the field who are able to provide valuable tips to break into the industry professionally, as well as attend conventions and workshops that offer skills and experience to kick start your career.
