Canada Today??- In the light of Prime Minister ?Justin Trudeau's press conference on Feb. 11, 2022, we speak and reflect on the current pandemic COVID- 19 situation as well as on ongoing illegal anti-mandate protests across Canada and a call to stop blockades in Canada U.S. borders.
More than 2,000 counter-protesters marched in the Glebe on Saturday afternoon;
Provincial and Federal Government leaders and a large majority of the Canadian population agree - they speak and share through social media platforms that the illegal truckers' blockades and protests must stop in our country. The negative and disruptive influence they spread across the country is an attack and abuse on our Canadian democracy, science and economic security. We share two reactions to anti-mandate protests from the counter-protesters, but of course, they are so many:?
The good majority of Canadians say - They will not make us stay silent because “This convoy does not represent workers or working-class values. Truckers are right now are delivering goods all over the country. They’re not in downtown Ottawa terrorizing our community.” And one more: “It’s a fantasy. They’re liberating our city from nothing. We have 92 percent of the population vaccinated, and we’re waiting to open up so we can support our businesses.''
We stay with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau - Canadians know that there is still a pandemic and virus that puts in danger our human lives;
Since the pandemic began, the Federal Government put the needed effort to fight the COVID-19 virus and supported the Canadian population in overcoming this challenge and continues to do it today. Nonetheless, we can see, that some influence aim we lose focus and want we forget about the true reality of the things we stood for from the beginning of the pandemic and for which we stay today. The COVID -19 - is a severe challenge, and we witnessed the Federal Government led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau put all the necessary efforts to keep Canadians safe during these two hard years - ''We've saved more lives in our country'' - highlighted Justin Trudeau.
However, there were a few more requests for the Federal Assistance approved this last week;
It is an unquestionable fact, and we strongly believe that no one can question it - Here, at the beginning of this 21 century, the pandemic happened worldwide. And therefore, the nationwide vaccination mandates are one of the necessary tools the Federal Government applied in the face of a public health emergency to address an issue such as this pandemic in our country.?
Therefore, today, we call for unity and togetherness of the provincial and federal leaders to address and stop ongoing truckers' protests and blockades across Canada. The Federal Government continues to stand up for workers' health and safety amid this pandemic, and it will take the necessary measures to protect Canada's economic security that is dangered today by unacceptable illegal protests and blockades.
We would like to highlight this time isn't about staying in opposition against each other even though the opposition is legal. This time is about staying united, stopping COVID-19 protests and blockades, recovering our Canadian society, economy, country, and advancing science. This is about what the majority of the Canadian population confidently speaks and stays for - according to this week's social media posts, reports, and messages.
The illegal blockades are hurting Canadians whether they're in Ottawa Windsor coots or Emerson;
''They're endangering jobs they're threats to our economy and to public safety. The blockades are hurting small businesses and neighbourhoods at the border, they're impacting trade supply chains and manufacturing the people these blockades are hurting our everyday families.'' - Prime Minister said in the opening of the press conference.
It makes sense and is more than correct to ensure that the 'foreign money' funding and illegal protests have to stop in Canada. We all could learn about the negative influence and impact of the illegal money fundraisings that impacted unacceptable events in our country, and we could see this influence and movement around the world. On Feb. 11 Canadian Prime Minister spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden and expressed his concerns regarding the American and other global influences on the illegal protests against COVID-19 mandates and blockades across the country and Canada - U.S. borders.??

''Today, @POTUS Biden and I spoke about the illegal blockades at the border – I updated him on the situation, and we discussed the American and global influence on the protests. We agreed that, for the security of people and our economies, these blockades cannot continue.'' - Justin Trudeau
The unlawful protests will no longer be tolerated - it's time to go home now;
On the next and significant note, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressed his attention to truckers and their supporters to understand better their actions and behaviour - unlawful demonstration will no longer be tolerated. No one has the right to harass, put at risk and create unsafe life and working environment for others - that is not a democracy, and that is not freedom. ''Today, I shared a clear message to those taking part in illegal blockades and occupations: We’ve heard you. But there are consequences for breaking the law, and those consequences are becoming increasingly severe. It’s time to go home to your communities.'' - underlined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
In the conclusion of his speech to Canadians Prime Minister spoke about Ukraine;
''During the summit with president Biden and allies, we discussed the importance of finding a peaceful solution that remains our focus we're all concerned.'' - ''Canada, the United States, and countries across Europe are committed to supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. I spoke about that today with @POTUS and European leaders – we’ll keep pursuing de-escalation and a diplomatic solution. '' - Justin Trudeau (yesterday, evening Twitter quote)
And we would like to conclude with: We, Bright People Media, share a message and words the world leaders can read and hear - And these words today are - Enough is Enough;
Because the world needs peace, we all need peace.?And, let's say it, we are shocked by the conflict escalation between all the parties. We would like to believe the world's leaders want and look forward to stopping the escalation between all the parties: Russia - Ukraine - and NATO.
All that what we see and read in the news for two past weeks or even more - don't benefit a peaceful resolution. Disarming is the topic the world leaders and politicians could talk about, but how to go for that? It is not easy, but it can have the starting point with a good wish and a constructive working dialogue. The disappointing fact today consists in that there are so many who today still live in the past of the beginning of 20 century, who keep in their mentality and hearts historical mistakes, wrongs and anger that don't bring peace in our world and lives. We must give respect to our grandparents who fought for the peace we have today.
Let's stay, work, act and speak for peace together;?
Let's stop the confrontations through the social media platforms, which often are disinformation or misinformation from the consequences of which are suffering on different levels. We speak to change the ongoing confrontations to a respectful working dialogue while on the call or face-to-face meetings on the international levels - the world and we all need peace.?
We, Bright People Media, probably speak a little bit differently than others; nonetheless, because of our difference and an honest voice - you read us and listen, and we are grateful for that. Thank you.
