People flee violence and persecution, seeking safety and stability in neighboring countries or beyond. Also, Human Rights Abuses such as political repression and persecution based on factors such as ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs can compel individuals to seek refuge in other countries, even if it means entering illegally.
