James 2:15-16 15?Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16?If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

Have you ever had that uneasy feeling when you see someone in need? You see them, or even talk with them and they tell you what they're going through, and you say, 'That's too bad... I'll pray for you!' Then you walk away (instead of praying with them), thanking God you dodged that bullet. Then a nagging feeling hits you. That's because sometimes the answer to someone's prayer is YOU. God created all of us to serve and be present. Sometimes it is prayer, but if someone is in a ditch and I drive by with a big pick-up and a tow rope, I am not going to roll down my window and yell out, 'I'll pray for you!' God calls us to show our faith through our actions. Sometimes that is prayer, and sometimes we are the answer to prayer someone is looking for. Pray, act, and have a blessed day!
