I'll Never get Used to Not Loving You

-I’ll get used to you not texting me anymore. I’ll get used to and not smile when my phone would show your notification. I’ll get used to you not making me laugh anymore. I’ll get used to your absence. But I’ll never get used to forgetting your birthday. I’ll never get used to the smile you get when thoughts come back every time. I’ll get used to keeping you away but I won’t ever get used to forgetting you, I’ll never get used to not loving you, I’ll never get used to it. Ever.

-I stopped sending paragraphs, stopped begging. I stopped telling people how to treat me, and started walking way, blocking, and distancing myself. Life may be lonely, but it’s becoming peaceful. Sometimes being alone in life is better than being surrounded by half ass people.

-Understand this. If you push me away, I promise you, you won’t find me where you left me. My hearts big, but not big enough to deal with people who decide to love me when it’s convenient for them. If you aren’t willing to reciprocate the love that I give, then I’ll remove myself.
