I'll get you a Higher Level Designer than you can

There's a bias...a pretty big one! I learnt it first hand recently when we met a potential recruiter for the team here via a Rec 2 Rec. Great candidate and might make a solid recruiter someday - but for us, the conclusion we arrived at was "Good, but not worth a fee."

And in that is the challenge we face every day with our clients! The standard they expect when meeting people via JDP is the highest of high - and fair enough - we're all about high standards.

We see it time and time again the client ends up filling the role themselves with a candidate that we know full well is not of the same standard we've been set but for that client, they're happy to compromise.

It's a tough bias to work with and something companies should be aware of - and not because they should be accepting lower standards from us, but because they know if they engage with us properly they'll likely end up with a much higher standard employee in the end.
