Winter training is coming. As well as facing the elements – the wind, cold and rain – the dark starts to draw in earlier, making it harder for teams to train together. The darkness robs you of a third of the time that you could be training, meaning you need to hire floodlit pitches.

 Finding a fully floodlit pitch to hire can be difficult, with many clubs needing to train at the same time, the demand is high. Prices can start at as much as ￡60 per hour which is money that can be better spent elsewhere!
