Iliopsoas treatment

How are you? I am Kochi, the founder of Kochi Method.
Today is on the iliopsas. As a practitioner I'm sure you're aware of the importance of this muscle.
When the iliopsas is fatigued it often will cause problems like back pain and sciatica, and there are many cases where we treat it.
What's difficult is the depth that this muscle is located which can lead to insufficient treatment. Not only that, when you try to massage it by applying pressure from the abdominal region there aren't any way to tell if it's reaching the iliopsas.
Because of this we need to do an inspection to see if we had any effect.
I believe it is important to think about how we approach the iliopsas in Kochi Method as well.
We use muscle reflexion as we do inspections which allows the practitioner to determine whether or not the treatment is properly taking effect.
There are muscles that are linked to the iliopsas. These muscles are very important based on Kochi Method theories.
When the iliopsas hardens from fatigue so too do the muscles linked to it.
The tibialis anterior muscle especially shows an obvious reaction.
When the leg in its entirety is fatigued the tibialis anterior muscle becomes hard. The iliopsas bends the hip joint, when the leg as a whole is fatigued it becomes harder to bend the hip joint.
Tibialis anterior muscle and the iliopsas are linked.
