Ikigai: Dream-Chasing & The Success Formula

Q: What is Ikigai, and why do I keep seeing it everywhere?

I love the topic of Ikigai because it's riddled with notes of self-discovery, clarity, and dream-chasing. I believe everything you do in life offers a chance to tackle all three. So, I come bearing gifts for others who are excited to dive into the topic of Ikigai!

But before I give you these gifts, you must first understand what IKIGAI means.

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your ‘reason for being.’ ‘Iki’ in Japanese means ‘life,’ and ‘gai’ describes value or worth. Your Ikigai is your life purpose or your bliss. It’s what brings you joy and inspires you to get out of bed every day. (source)
