ffr On January 4,5,6 I have attended the "Future Cities Summit" held at #IITMadras on behalf of #Shaastra2025 .

On day 1,

I learnt to identify the problems in future cities through,

• Observations
• Needs
• Ideas
• Prototypes
• Product

I Learnt about the ASEAN smart cities framework

Problems in India INEQUALITY & UNEMPOLYMENT

I groomed myself with resilient cities and human centered approach and AI driven maintenance

I learnt about the Digital twin (Puteri harbour), Net 0 energy,

• Carbon reduction = 3095 tons of CO2 square per year
• 27% = reduction in energy consumption
• 100% = by renewable resource as on site = 10%(300 kwp), as off site = 90% (1863 kwp)

On Day 2,

Road safety integration of AI to reduce accidents enhance road safety

I learnt there were around 7040 black spots in road safety

I gained how to start the project through three phases

• Phase 1: Paid Proof Of Concept
• Phase 2: Pilot Project
• Phase 3: Project Rollout

I studied the vulnerable road users,

• Pedestrians
• Bicyclists & Motorcyclists
• Older drivers

On Day 3,

I gained insights in maintaining

• sustainable green environment
• water resources
• Food insecurity
• With Interactive Q&A sessions.

To feed the food to my space thrust, I went to the Brila Planetarium which was located opposite to the IIT-M
