Greetings from a very sunny and warm Rotterdam. It has been one of the driest months on record in the Netherlands! Despite the summer holiday energy floating in the air, our activities in the IHS Alumni team are in full swing.?This year, IHS celebrates its?65th anniversary?and preparations have already started. We are also getting ready to welcome a new batch of master students to the alumni community after their graduation. The current?IHS Alumni Board?has come up with a strategy for the next years and together we are working towards strengthening the ties with various Local Alumni Associations.?One such example is India, where an official visit and alumni gathering took place.?Furthermore, we are working on various projects, among which a comprehensive webinar series, which we hope you will be a part of. Last year, we hosted a Summer Barbecue for students and alumni who live in the Netherlands. That was such a lovely gathering, that this year we decided not only to repeat it, but to also extend the guestlist to IHS staff and PhD candidates.
If you are in the Netherlands, join us for a lovely all IHS reunion in Kralingse Bos, on June 30!?We start gathering up around 5, but we will definitely be there if you need to drive after work and you arrive somewhat later.

Meet the IHS Alumni Board?President!
The IHS Alumni network wouldn't be the expansive global community it is today without the dedication and involvement of our alumni. The network is represented by the Alumni Board, a team of passionate alumni volunteers, who help the network grow and respond to the needs of its nearly 10.000 members.
As of this year, the President of the Alumni Board is Jammy Zhu, an alumna of the MSc programme in Urban Management and Development. Read on to get to know Jammy!
