What a busy month June has been! With new members, new partners, EOFY, the #IHACAwards, new board members, and a lot more, we've had plenty going on. We'd like to thank everyone who entered the IHAC Awards, and now the shortlisting process is in progress. Stay tuned for updates!

In-house agencies are becoming more popular, (ANA reported 82% of members now having one). Some people think in-house agencies get stuck in a rut, but that's not the case. Airbnb has clearly proven that having a close team of creative people, designers, and marketers brings fresh ideas.
  • Latest Trends and Challenges in Learning and MarTech. In 2023, MarTech faces exciting possibilities with new technologies like #GenAI, but also challenges due to economic uncertainty. The global #MarTech market was estimated at $508.9 billion, with over 63% of CMOs projecting increased budgets. To better understand the trends, challenges, and opportunities for programmatic advertising in 2023, MarTech industry leaders across a range of sectors share their perspective.
  • PepsiCo: In-housing can improve collaboration with agencies. Marketers believe in-housing will continue to grow, but their involvement with agencies will remain the same. PepsiCo has 70 brands and works with hundreds of agencies. Its model is intentionally a blended mix of in-house and external.

In our recent member's meeting we delved into the realm of generative AI tools and technology, exploring their practical applications. John Corba and his team at Sportsbet shared an insightful presentation on how they are leveraging?mid journey in their business. 凯度 also?discussed the vital aspects of AI testing and scoring, uncovering the inner workings of their AI system and the significant role human interpretation still plays in the process.?it was a thought-provoking session. Masterclass on Values and Brand Safety with DoubleVerify

In?our recent masterclass, DoubleVerify highlighted the importance of aligning with appropriate content and avoiding inappropriate material. They emphasised the need for independent verification and introduced their platform, Pinnacle, for centralised control. Attention metrics and consistency were highlighted as crucial for successful online advertising.?Members can watch the?full session here
