Igniting a passion for community improvement in the Czech Republic

RockCorps is proud to support the?Deutsche Telekom?Platform,?“What We Value”?in recruiting volunteer leaders under 30yrs old from across Europe. We met so many inspiring visionaries, here is one of their stories:

Petr Vilím and Tereza Kupková founded Yoda, a youth mentoring programme after witnessing the reluctance of post-communist countries including the Czech Republic to engage their communities.

Through individual one-on-one mentoring with university students and young professionals, high school students develop their life skills while working on a project to improve the life in their community, school, city, region, or even country.

Since 2015, more than 250 Czech and Slovak high school students have participated in the program.
