What does it mean to really unlock your potential and your innate genius?

BEING A GENIUS is similar to being a really great human being. Albert Einstein says that "everyone is a genius." He is also making the point that everyone has the potential to become a genius or to ignite their genius nature and to create the life of his or her dreams. However, as he suggests in the quote about people "believing they are stupid", most people live their lives telling themselves they are far less capable than they actually are in life. If only they knew better.

The dictionary describes a genius a someone who is above average and exceeds the normal levels of intelligence or skill. A genius can even have exceptionally intelligent or creative abilities. Sometimes in one field, and sometimes in many fields such as the arts and sciences.

THE ROOT ORIGIN of genius in Latin is "guardian spirit of a person or place". To ignite our genius, from my perspective, is to embrace our inner divinity and call upon the angels that are always ready and willing to help and protect us. To ignite our genius is to energetically and spiritually connect with our natural flow state of wisdom and higher intelligence from the heavens. To receive guidance from our spirit allies, minerals, plants, animals, and elemental energy, and most importantly to be connected to a higher purpose or calling in life that benefits the greater good.

OUR TRUE POTENTIAL for being a genius eagerly awaits our interest and initiation. Our broken culture has failed at teaching this to our youth, as well as adults, and in many ways, consumer society directly benefits from us staying scared and ignorant. Genius is much like the word "genie". Truly, a genie has always been inside our bottle. A genius has always been inside our bodies. We just have to learn how to rub (activate) our lamp (consciousness) for the genie to emerge and grant us our wishes. Once we activate our body and our consciousness and become aware that we are powerful creators and that we constantly co-create our own reality, everything changes!

Anyone who commits to igniting their genius can do so. Anyone who chooses to be guided by their spirit and their spirit allies is gifted higher intelligence, wisdom, and knowledge. As the adage says, "If you believe it, you can achieve it." And, "If there is a will, there is a way." Just choose it and do it! Consciously connecting with your guardian spirit, inner genie, genius nature, a heavenly angel, or whatever you like to think about as a higher guiding power, will certainly help to unlock your potential.

THE IGNITION PROCESS from my experience has a lot to do with curiosity and passion. These aspects of our natural intelligence show us how to become great. They inform our instinct and intuition about what this life is all about for us as human beings. Curiosity and passion can light the way and guide us through all doubt and darkness. The spark or flame of our childlike innocence ignites our passion and purpose. We come alive when we follow our curiosity, our intuition, and our innate passions. We align with and live our sacred purpose on this path and co-create our destiny by honoring the ancient intelligence of our heart and soul. 

To ignite our genius is to get into a state of unity and flow with all of life. A state of body-mind-soul-spirit alignment - centered inside the self - present in the vortex of the HERE and NOW!
