Trevor Connor

Founder of Fast Talk Laboratories, LLC

Session: Developing Your Coaching/Training Knowledge: Knowing What to Trust in the Era of Information Overload

Trevor Connor, an exercise physiologist and seasoned endurance sports coach with over 20 years in professional cycling, brings a wealth of expertise to Fast Talk Labs. After a successful career racing professionally and achieving podium placements in major North American races, Connor seamlessly transitioned to coaching and team management, contributing significantly to the development of cycling talent across different levels. His proficiency extends to writing for cycling and nutrition magazines, and he co-hosted the popular training podcast Fast Talk, drawing from his extensive background in the sport. Since 2018, he has served as the CEO of The Paleo Diet, exploring the intersection of nutrition and performance.

In 2019, Connor founded Fast Talk Laboratories, LLC, where he continues to host the podcast, focusing on delivering valuable information on endurance sports training through collaborations with top coaches, physiologists, and professional athletes worldwide.

In his upcoming session, "Developing Your Coaching/Training Knowledge: Knowing What to Trust in the Era of Information Overload," Connor will tackle the challenges coaches face in a world saturated with information. Joe Fleenor

Co-Owner of Team Magic

Session: Growth Through Acquisition and Merger

Joe Fleenor, a Sport Management graduate from the University of Tennessee, has dedicated his entire professional career to the sports and event production industry. With seven years of experience at the United States Tennis Association (USTA), he played a key role in organizing local, state, and regional tennis tournaments while providing growth consulting services to various tennis entities. Transitioning into corporate event production, Fleenor served as the Director of Events & Client Relations for The Rainmaker Companies before launching his own race production company, Above The Fold Events & Sport Promotions, in 2016.

In 2021, Above The Fold merged with Team Magic Multisports, expanding its operations to three states: Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Team Magic, established in 1985, stands as one of the largest and longest-running race production companies in the United States.

Fleenor's session will focus on "Growth Through Acquisition and Merger," where attendees will gain insights into the successes and learnings from the 2021 merger between Team Magic and Above The Fold. The presentation offers an opportunity for attendees to engage in discussions and brainstorm with Fleenor and others about their related experiences in the field.


Jasmine Moezzi,

Founder, President, and Head Coach of South Bay Squad

Session: Case Studies: Sponsorship Procurement & Activation

Coach Jasmine Moezzi, Founder, President, and Head Coach of South Bay Squad triathlon & endurance team in Redondo Beach, CA, is passionate about building community, giving back, and helping individuals realize their full potential. In just three years, her team has grown to over 80 athletes, secured more than 30 partner/sponsorships, and continues to expand.

As a certified USAT Race Director, Moezzi initiated the South Bay Triathlon and successfully organized its inaugural race simulation. Additionally, she works as a certified nutritionist and health coach at Amae Health Clinic in Westwood, focusing on patients with severe mental illnesses.

Excited to be a speaker at the 2024 USAT Endurance Exchange, Moezzi aims to share insights on acquiring and maintaining partnerships and sponsors. Her session will cover various techniques, methods, and a case study highlighting what worked best for her team. Attendees, whether team/club leaders, coaches, or race directors, can expect to learn successful sponsorship acquisition strategies and gain tools for effective collaboration with diverse partners and sponsors.


Brian Johns

Session: The Benefits of Swimming with Real-Time Data and Virtual Coaching

Brian Johns, Head of Coaching Science at FORM and a three-time Olympian, is set to discuss the advantages of swimming with real-time data and virtual coaching in an upcoming session at Endurance Exchange.

With a background representing Canada in swimming at three Olympic Games and breaking a World Record in 2003, Johns brings a wealth of experience to FORM. Having transitioned to coaching after his competitive career, Johns earned a Master's in Coaching Science and a diploma in Data Science, applying a data-driven approach to swimmer development. FORM Smart Swim Goggles, the focus of the discussion, provides detailed real-time data analysis, allowing swimmers to understand their strengths and weaknesses for improved performance.

The session will delve into the innovative HeadCoach feature, utilizing augmented reality to offer swimmers visual coaching, personalized skill development, and in-depth performance analysis through metrics like FORM Score and HeadCoach Skills, marking a significant advancement in swim training technology.

Michanda’s dream and mission are to inspire and empower individuals to shine brightly. She knows and believes that we achieve the most and contribute the most by being exactly who we were created to be, no exceptions! She is spiced with style and sprinkled with a high-power intensity to get things done. Guided by faith and determination, She continuously pursues every opportunity given to her to touch and influence lives.


Liz Kollar

Director of Engagement - USA Triathlon

Session Understanding & Capitalizing on the Athlete Lifecycle

Liz Kollar, the Director of Engagement for USA Triathlon, has been immersed in multisport since 2001 when she completed her first triathlon in Lubbock, Texas. With a remarkable athletic background, including 13 full-distance events, over 50 short-course races, and numerous cycling events, her passion for triathlon is extensive. A member of USA Triathlon since 2002, she brings a wealth of experience to her role.

Before joining USA Triathlon, Liz served as the Global Director of Athlete Development for IRONMAN and held the position of Director of Membership, Youth, and Collegiate for USA Cycling. In July 2024, she is set to direct her first multisport event in Alma, CO, featuring a mountain bike race, trail run, and off-road duathlon.

Kollar’s session at the USA Triathlon Endurance Exchange will focus on "Understanding & Capitalizing on the Athlete Lifecycle." Attendees can anticipate insights into how individuals are introduced to triathlon and what factors contribute to keeping them engaged in the sport.
