Spanish Casino and Slots GGR Sees Growth in Q2, Despite Decrease from Previous Quarter
The Spanish Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling has reported a 10.79% year-over-year growth in market gross gambling revenue (GGR) in the second quarter of 2024, reaching €346.34m. However, the GGR decreased by 1.24% compared to the previous quarter.
Casino operations and slots GGR saw growth in both year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter comparisons, with casino GGR reaching €171.69m and slots GGR reaching €134.56m.
FDJ Brings Forward Expiry of Kindred Offer Amid Regulatory Clearance
FDJ has obtained final approval from the French Competition Authority to complete its offer to acquire Kindred Group plc, and has brought forward the expiry date of the acceptance period to October 2, 2024.
