It was our pleasure to meet with Tim Booth, CEO at FVP Holdings, who shared with us how the company started and what sets them apart from the competition. Read our interview below to find out more about one of the world's fastest-growing CFD brokers.

iFX EXPO: Tell us a bit about yourself and your company!?

Tim Booth: After a successful career in corporate banking and asset management, I was fortunate to be able to travel to a lot of countries and work in a host of different environments. This was a real key factor and inspiration in wanting to break away from the mundane normalities of corporate banking and embrace the future of finance, which I believe to be the amalgamation of FinTech and Quantum Technology.

This saw the birth of FVP Holdings back in 2017, soon after we undertook the acquisition of Qfinity Labs which were an extremely exciting quantum Technology company headed by Dr David Moche to work in tandem with our newly formed Forex trading company FVP Trade.?

The final piece of the puzzle was to bring in Keith Walker from GFXTech who we had been keeping tabs on for a while.

GFXTech were a great little team over in the U.S running turnkey solutions on building Forex brokerages and also had extensive experience in writing Risk Software, it was critical that I was able to merge them together and get Keith and David working together as they were instrumental in the early stages of our quantum algorithm testing.

iFX EXPO: What sets you apart from the competition?

Tim Booth: This is an interesting question, we didn’t just want FVP Trade to be a standard run of the mill brokerage, we deliberately wanted it to be something unique, something different. We wanted to offer our customers something that back in 2017 they hadn’t seen or experienced before, at the time algorithmic trading was only really within the reach of banks or the larger financial institutions, we wanted to make it within the reach of all of our clients.

This is where Qfinity Labs came in, over the course of two years they were working hard in close contact with our risk department continuously testing their Monte Carlo algorithm along with the quantum computer systems running at incredible speeds.

I don't think I need to explain to anyone in the industry how PAMM accounts work, but what set us apart from most is we were able to use quantum technology to predict future volatility and be best placed to place trades on our clients' behalf generating extremely competitive returns.??

iFX EXPO: Where are you Based?

Tim Booth: Our Holdings group is headquartered in the BVI but we have offices operating globally, thanks to our rapid expansion plan in the Asia Pacific region FVP Trade has seen no less than 40 offices open up across Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, and multiple offices in China with our jewel in the crown being our Asia Pacific HQ in Shenzhen that is now fully operational.

iFX EXPO: Do you have news or releases coming out that you would like to share?

Tim Booth: Well, for starters FVP Trade has recently launched its own exchange called FVPEx which allows its top customers to buy and sell company shares prior to listing on the markets such as the U.S OTC markets in the coming months.

Also, within our group, Qfinity Labs have announced that they will be laying a roadmap for 2022 and beyond which this year alone will see them increase their Qbit capabilities from 12 up to 30 Qbits which is a considerable increase! This will improve stability across the system and also see them launch a cloud system which I am extremely looking forward to! In just a few years the developments that have been made in the Fintech arm of our company have been outstanding.

iFX EXPO: Who from your team will be at the event?

Tim Booth: Well, I am delighted to announce that I will be joined by Keith Walker, our Head of Market Development from our Asia Pacific Region, along with his deputies from Malaysia and we have also flown over our UK events manager & team from London who many may remember from our last event back in London at FMLS21.

iFX EXPO: As one of our Exhibitors and Sponsors, what would you say is the highlight of the events for you?

Tim Booth: Unfortunately for myself, I am mostly unavailable to attend these events, I will usually leave it in the capable hands of my marketing and events staff, but what I am certain of is just how essential they are for networking.?

Back in my banking days, I attended many expos and found them to be incredibly useful for reaching out to clients and fellow industry workers.

Now FVP Trades' client base has grown substantially, we can expect to see our team attending many more events such as iFX EXPO in the near future!
