One of the most beautiful season that I as a non-Muslim experienced in the #gcc was the Holy month of Ramadan.
Early 2000s it seemed hard on us, with having literally to fast as there was no restaurants open during the fasting (roza) hours, and as bachelors a canned juice with fruits and farsan from the grocers was the only meal we could think of, mind you being a non-cook!
Subsequently, as I grew to be amongst the community and share attending and participating in #iftar evenings, I realised the beauty of #peace in sharing, the strength of #tranquility in silence around, and the #serenity amongst people around, a game changer leaving some beautiful cherishing times to reflect till this day.
As our Muslim brethren come closer in celebrating Eid, here's wishing them all Happy Iftar tonight.
As a large #global community, peace and love is the only way of expressing brotherhood, always, every season.
