IFSEC takeaway - Stronger together

Busy Monday for all no doubt reaching out to new and existing contacts made during IFSEC last week.  For the 3rd year running the ever growing Oncam team made the Aloft Excel hotel our home for meetings during the week.

As has almost become the clichéd comment for all after taking part in the show "we had a great IFSEC".  We genuinely did this year maybe for a slightly different reason to the rest as Oncam are at a slightly different stage of our growth to others.  Whilst the Video world appears to be going back to "end to end" whilst still doing some "best of breed" Oncam more than ever have a deeper understanding of what makes a great partnership.

We kicked the week off on the Monday before IFSEC even began with by me hosting a roundtable joined by both channel partners and Milestone Systems along with BCD Video.  We had a very engaging 2.5hr conversation about what we are doing right as eco-system partners for the Installers and what we could do better.  Great timing due to our recent case study for that 3 way partnership in the Logistics market - https://www.oncamgrandeye.com/case-studies/rapid-roi-and-improved-safety-delight-leading-logistics-company.html

The theme of partnership then continued in earnest throughout the next 3 days we hosted a Retail Seminar showcasing our joint award winning solution with Video Analysis Solutions, explained simply in this Doodle - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeqLrpoZ--o

Forgive the pun but the Education continued around new use cases for 360 video as we hosted an Education Seminar for partners and press utilising our technology for Less Capture and Classroom Observation.  This emotive but powerful subject certainly got people talking and writing as this article shows the morning after - https://www.techandlearning.uk/download/winning-hearts-and-minds-with-oncam-technology/

Our visits to the show floor were generally to discuss deeper integration with partners solutions such as the global team visiting Indigovision at their stand on the Thursday morning. 

Myself and the wider team loved our week at IFSEC and feel we are in much better shape in terms of partners understanding our go to market and stance when it comes to working collaboratively.  The reality is that in Oncams world we are typically Stronger Together!
