IFMA SV Monthly Meeting Recap

January 22, 2020 -IFMA Silicon Valley held it membership meeting and here are the highlights. The meeting was held at Google and as usual, they were very gracious hosts. As the first meeting of the year, attendance was up. Past President Patrick Hallett of Sciens opened up the meeting and handed out awards for volunteers that contributed to the success of IFMA SV. Mr. Hallett then swore in the new Board and then Christian with Slatter Construction took the reigns.

The main speaker was Bubba Paris, former 3 time super bowl offensive lineman for the 49'ers. Bubba did discussed the upcoming Super Bowl and then he started to give an uplifting talk about his life adventures, from blocking for Joe Montana to losing over 100 pounds. He can no longer call himself "The Big Sexy" Bubba also had his knee replaced 24 days ago and he still showed up to give a wonderful talk and to also sign momentos.
