IFAT Fair 2024: A successful result for HAAS Recycling-Systems

IFAT Fair 2024, the international specialist fair for waste technology, we proudly look back on a great week full of exciting meetings and successes.

"As part of a dedicated team of 17 colleagues, we were on site and had the pleasure of welcoming numerous international partners, customers and interested parties from various countries such as Brazil, Israel, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Australia and many more, as well as from Germany. The intensive dialogue with our visitors led to inspiring conversations and the development of new business relationships.

Our traditional trade fair stand party on Tuesday evening was a real highlight, with around 90 guests coming together to celebrate. While enjoying a delicious buffet, we socialised in a relaxed atmosphere."

Another 15 colleagues from HAAS visited IFAT on Wednesday for a day trip to get an impression of the trade fair and the exhibits on show. It is valuable to see the technologies other suppliers are presenting and inspiring to see the manufacturing possibilities which are being realised. In addition, the trade fair provided an excellent opportunity for personal discussions and exchanges with suppliers to strengthen our partnerships and explore new opportunities.

"The daily live demonstrations of our machines from Monday to Friday were a highlight of the trade fair. The TYRON pre-shredder, the ARTHOS secondary shredder and the SIEBO drum screen attracted a large number of visitors and impressively demonstrated the performance and efficiency of our technologies."

A special highlight was our participation in the VDMA's Young Professionals programme. Our workshop manager Carsten Schmidt took the opportunity to present our popular pre-shredder, the HAAS TYRON, to interested young talents and provide them with fascinating insights into the technology and functionality of this machine. He emphasised the interesting and future-oriented professions in our industry and our active contribution to solving recycling problems and conserving resources through our work.

We recommend our machines to a wide range of customers worldwide with a clear conscience. However, should something go wrong, our service team is ready to provide the right spare parts or a service technician on site."

"Our visit from a kindergarten group was a very special encounter; our mascot TYRON, the Viking, naturally took the opportunity to greet the young generation in person. At the fair, the children were given an insight into how sustainability can be child's play in some areas and how everyone can contribute. The children learnt about what they saw as gigantic machines and were amazed. "

?Our GoGreen Pioneer award was also an outstanding event. Out of over 3,000 exhibitors, we were one of 12 exhibitors honoured for our sustainable trade fair construction concept - a recognition that underlines our commitment to sustainability.
