IERG Meeting with Panama's Ambassador Ramon Martinez

The Panamanian Ambassador to the USA, Ramon Martinez addressed members of the International Executive Resources Group, IERG, on February 16, giving an impressive presentation on “Why Panama is the top choice for businesses wanting to expand in Latin America”.

The Ambassador demonstrated the advantages of Panama as a hub for sustainable investment thanks to its government and business-friendly policies enabling firms to start a business with favorable costs, investment incentives, and time efficiency for cross-border trade. Panama is blessed as one of the best-connected countries in the world with both Atlantic and Pacific Ocean sea routes, due to the Panama Canal, it is an air hub and boasts standout connectivity through its fiber optic international telecommunications.

This video shows a?cosmopolitan view of Panama's?capital; The principal benefits in favor of Panama are that it is a major Banking and Financial Center, known as the Switzerland of Latin America, and also for the experienced service of the Colon Free Zone opened in 1948. The Free Zone is the largest free-trade zone in the Western Hemisphere and second in the world.

The Ambassador pointed out that Panama has been cited by "International Living" as the world’s best place to retire in 2022, known for its world-class “pension” program and as a tropical paradise highlighted by Bocas del Toro, the Tahiti of the Americas, and the panoramic views of the San Blas Islands.?
