IELTS Update: India Will Accept "One Skill Retake" Beginning in March 2023

Earlier, students had to retake the entire exam if they failed any IELTS modules or didn't achieve the desired score on any of them. For the purposes of advanced education and international migration, non-native English speakers can take the International English Language Testing System to measure their English language ability.

IELTS will reportedly implement a "One Skill Retake" provision in which candidates would have the option to just take the module for which they received a lower score. It means that they are no longer need to take all four IELTS exam modules. The modification will go into effect in March of 2023.
