IEHP Foundation Sets Course

As a newly formed Foundation, we understand how eager the community is to work with us, and the feeling is mutual.

However, as a new organization, we must develop a strategic plan that will lead and carry us into the future to ensure success and long-lasting impact.

We are amid our strategic planning with input from our esteemed board of directors to help set forth the Foundation's mission, vision and values. During this time, we are closely reviewing the recent Community Health Assessment results and data collection from both counties, local and national resources and databases to help us identify where we can make the best and most long-lasting impact.

We are also meeting with other foundations and grantmakers to understand what is already being accomplished/funded in the region to identify the gaps and voids that need to be filled.

However, IEHP Foundation will be a grantmaking organization that aims to support pilot programs, identify innovative solutions that improve health outcomes and act as a convener, collaborator and partner with local nonprofits, CBOs and faith-based organizations.

We are dedicated to listening and learning from our community, collaborating and convening with the organizations already doing the work and helping identify what other resources they need to be successful.

We will keep you updated on our progress, but please follow us along our journey in the meantime!
