IDSAsr National Research Excellence Award

On the eve of 550th Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Arjan Dev Institute of Development Studies, Amritsar (IDSAsr) has initiated different research award in the domain of Development Studies. Nominations are invited for the following awards before 30 September, 2019. Research undertaken during the last five year( 2014 onward) will be taken into account for this purpose. Awards will be confirmed on the annual seminar of the institute slated for November 9-10, 2019.

Categories of awards are Life time achievement award in Development Studies (above the age of 65 yrs but active in research); Male researcher of the year up to the age of 65 yrs but above 40 yrs; female researcher of the year up to the age of 65 yrs but above 40 yrs and Young researcher (separately for male and female of the year (below the age of 40 yrs) award.

Nomination must include why you considered best fit for the award, its sub category and practical implication in a day to day life of your research. Though there is no fee for the award but a sum of Rs 5000 (Rs. Five thousand only) has be paid to cover contingency/processing cost. Award consists of Memento, Medal and a certificate. Decision of the panel of jury will be final and cannot be challenged. Any of the award cannot be granted if found not suitable by the panel of jury.
