iDiversify: What Apple Knows About Connections and Culture

Apple is well-known for being an innovator in the tech field. It’s very likely you’re reading this from an iPhone. As many well-known companies have published statements removing or severely diminishing their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, the board of Apple follows the leaders of Costco and has chosen to hold the line and continue in their DEI efforts. Here are three things Apple knows:

  • Inclusiveness fosters a thriving culture: Apple actively cultivates an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. This translates to increased employee engagement, higher morale, and a stronger sense of belonging.
  • A positive culture fuels innovation: When diverse perspectives are embraced and valued, creativity flourishes. This leads to groundbreaking products and services that resonate with a global audience.
  • Innovation drives continued success: Apple's commitment to DEI isn't just about ethics; it's a strategic imperative. By fostering a culture of innovation, they consistently deliver cutting-edge products that maintain their competitive edge and drive long-term growth.

Apple knows what people want from their devices and how to stay connection. This decision also shows that they know how people want to be treated in their work environment. Companies that understand what DEI truly is will continue to draw good employees and connect well with their clientele.
