On?September 1 at 14:00 CEST, IDF will host a webinar on the importance of physical activity to manage and prevent diabetes.
This online event, developed as part of the?IDF?Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS)?programme,?will foster a discussion on?the importance of promoting physical activity to improve the management of all types of diabetes and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Panellists will include healthcare professionals, institutional representatives, professional athletes living with diabetes and diabetes advocates.
Education to protect tomorrow?is the theme of?World Diabetes Day?this November. Activities will focus on?highlighting the need for better access to quality diabetes education?for health professionals and people living with diabetes. Check out our?posters?and?web visuals?for use in awareness activities to support the campaign.?Stay tuned for more supporting materials in the coming weeks.
To inform campaign activities, we have launched?a global survey?to explore access to diabetes education for healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes.?If you are a?healthcare professional?or a?person living with diabetes, we invite you to spare 10 minutes of your time to complete the survey.?
The?IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022?is?120 days away! We are delighted to report that?over 1300 abstracts have been accepted?across the?eight programme streams.?Discover the?full scientific programme?and the?attractive onsite and online registration rates?available, with discounted rates for students and residents of low and lower-middle-income countries. We?look forward to welcoming you?in Lisbon and online this December.
If you have diabetes or care for someone with the condition, we invite you to?share your perspectives on diabetes in just five words.?The words?will be used to generate word clouds that will be promoted on our?Insulin at 100 website?and during?the?IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022.

We are looking to?hire a full-time Intern to support our Congress team?for a period of?six months?starting in September. Interested? The new Intern will?support marketing & promotion of the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022?and?assist in admin and communication tasks?related to the Congress.?
