Identity in the Marketplace - You are not lost yet !

I have tried different jobs, started different businesses, learnt different skills, infact spent money on courses and trainings but yet, it seems as if everything I am doing is still wrong.

I am getting frustrated

I am just tired

I even had to go off social media but then how do I make money if I go offline, how do I survive?

Even staying online with all the posts, activities, and contents is still not helping cos I am not making money like other people

What is wrong with me? What do I need to do right? This is getting tiring, please advice me.

If all I've written above applies to you, then this article is for you!

I can only come with this kind of post because I have been there and I am here to show you the way out of this crises and how to get back on your feet.

Sometimes when we hear the word "Identity", we only see it either from a natural perspective or think it is for the church people ??, but the truth is - The fruit of who you are right now and what you will become in the future is rooted in your Identity.

God started showing me different ways Identity affect people in the Marketplace, and this is for those who don't know who they truly are in God, and even the so-called believers are going through identity crises and don't know it yet.

Your Identity is connected to your purpose and divine assignment on the face of the earth, and one of the major reasons people get frustrated, jump from one place to another, one skill to another, one business to another is because they don't know who they are and what they are assigned to do on the face of the earth.

What is Identity in the Marketplace?

Your Identity in the Marketplace is all about how you see yourself and how you present yourself in the professional world and as a consumer. It's about your skills, your personal brand, your values, how you make choices, how you behave in business, and the relationships you build. All of these things together help define who you are in the marketplace.

It is how you show up and cause effects in the marketplace and the lives of people.

When you don't know your true Identity, it affects who you are and how you make decisions

The Bible talks about the story of a Man named Gideon (Judges 6), A man whose true identity is a Great Warrior. But Gideon didn't know his true identity at first, he had low self-esteem, he had fears, and he even do things in the hiding because of what people will say or do to him.

Let me simplify it for you; At that time, Israelites were under the attack and they feared the Midianites, so they could hardly do things in the open because if they are caught, they might be killed, so Gideon being an Israelite also feared them.

But guess what happened to Gideon at the later end - he had an encounter with an angel, and the angel said to him "O ye Man of Might Valour' which also means "Great Warrior". This means Gideon has been living a life that was not his all this while. He was called to be a Warrior not a timid person.

Then Gideon complained to the Angel what has been going in Israel and how they have been suffering, and the Angel responded that "You will destroy the Midianites as if they were only one man"

This is very interesting you know, "could it be that the very thing you are complaining about is what God has truly called you to solve?"

The very thing Gideon was complaining about is what God has called him to solve, Gideon's true Identity lies in being a mighty warrior, called to save his people from Midianites, and at the latter end of the scripture, Gideon's fame grew and he saved his people.

From being timid to being bold

From confusion to clarity

From complaint to become a solution provider

From frustration to Victory

From being fearful to being bold

From unknown to being famous

Everyone on the face of the earth has been assigned by God to do something, and that is rooted in your Identity.

How to discover your Identity in the Marketplace?

The creator of a thing is the only one that knows what he has inbuilt in a creation. You can't know the full function of a product if the manufacturer don't show you how to use it. If you try to figure it out yourself, you might get wounded or face repercussion at the end of the day, same with your Identity.

You can only know your Identity in God, and that happens when you encounter God.

While it is possible to have an idea of who God has called you to be, you can only harness your potentials to the fullest in God.

After the angel of the Lord called Gideon by his true Identity, Gideon still needed to ask God questions on how to go about defeating the Midianites, and God gave him uncommon wisdom that made his journey smooth, and he didn't even need much people to achieve his purpose.

The creator knows your capacity, potentials, ability, and He alone can show you who you are, and how to become who He has created you to be.

In conclusion, you are not depressed, you just need an encounter with God

You are not frustrated, you just need to discover your true Identity.
