Critical Start Debuts the Next Edition of its Cyber Threat Intelligence Report
Critical Start—a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Managed Cyber Risk Reduction (MCRR) cybersecurity solution provider—has released its biannual Cyber Threat Intelligence Report. The report spotlights some of the most significant threats observed in the first half of 2024 and tracks emerging cybersecurity trends in the manufacturing, healthcare, technology, professional services, engineering, and construction industries. Critical Start also shares actionable insights to help organizations improve their security posture and mitigate potential cyber risks.
Curity Details the Latest Version of its Identity Server Solution
Curity, an identity management solution provider, has released the latest version of the Curity Identity Server. With Curity Identity Server 9.4, the company introduces a significant update in the support for Verifiable Credentials, support for the OpenResty reverse proxy, and enhancements to the SAML authenticator, enabling it to use encryption and artifact binding. Curity also announced that the 9.5 update will "leave the station" on September 23rd, 2024.
Elastic Launches Support for Google Cloud Vertex AI
Elastic, a search AI company, has announced it will offer support for Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform and Gemini models, along with Elastic Attack Discovery and AI Assistant for Security. This support will provide security analysts with additional choices for using large language models (LLMs) to automate critical triage steps, contextualize and guide investments, streamline responses, create detection rules, generate queries for threat-hunting efforts, and more. Elastic's support for Google Cloud's Gemini 1.5 model via Vertex AI is available today.

Entrust Announces KeyControl as a Service (KCaaS)
Entrust, a global provider of identity-centric security solutions, has announced KeyControl as a Service (KCaaS), a new offering designed to give organizations more control over their cryptographic keys while leveraging the benefits of the cloud. Saviynt Appoints a Senior Vice President of Expert Services
Saviynt, a cloud-native identity and governance platform solution provider, has announced that Simon Gooch has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Expert Services. Gooch comes to Sviynt after spending over twenty-five years at Accenture, where he most recently served as the Global Digital Identity Lead and Director of Security for CIO.
