Anetac, a startup that protects companies from identity-based vulnerabilities in hybrid environments, has released its inaugural Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) Survey Report. The report was conducted by Cenuswide and is based on a survey of 201 identity security professionals. The report highlights gaps in the visibility, hygiene, and control within the machine and human account landscape. Other findings include information on topics like hybrid account misuse, company assets that are at risk, prolonged password rotation cycles, and a lack of service account visibility.
AuthenticID Launches a New Tool for Detecting Fraudulent Activities
AuthenticID, a global provider of fraud prevention and identity verification solutions, has released Velocity Checks, a new tool that integrates with the company's platform. The latest offering will leverage biometric and document analysis to detect multiple identities for fraudulent activities in real-time. For example, Velocity Checks uses image comparison algorithms to analyze ID and selfie headshot images that users submit and compare them to the stored images an organization has in its database of prior users and visitors.
Balbix Details the Latest Version of its Exposure Management Platform
Balbix, a cyber risk management solution provider, has announced Balbix D3, the latest version of its exposure management platform. The update introduces several AI innovations to help cybersecurity teams mitigate critical exposures faster than ever, making it easier for companies to protect against emerging threats before an attacker can explore them. Other additions in Balbix D3 include seamless integrations with major AppSec tools, BAS tools, and pen test findings to ensure that application risks are assessed alongside infrastructure vulnerabilities.

CyberArk Completes its Acquisition of Venafi
CyberArk, an identity security company, has completed its acquisition of Venafi, a machine identity solution provider, from Thoma Bravo. The acquisition will enable CyberArk to further its plans to equip every identity, human and machine alike, with the correct level of privilege controls. Together, CyberArk and Venafi will develop end-to-end machine identity security solutions that focus on improving security and preventing costly outages for organizations. Venafi also brings complementary solutions to expand CyberArk's total addressable market from $10 billion to approximately $60 billion.
Exabeam Announces New Offerings in its Latest Product Release
Exabeam, a global cybersecurity provider, has announced details on its first quarterly product release since merging with LogRhythm. The new release introduces several innovations that aim to give users increased flexibility in choosing the security solution that meets their company's needs. Also included in the update is LogRhythm Intelligence, a new offering that combines Exabeam's AI capabilities with LogRhythm's self-hosted SIEM platform to equip clients with advanced behavior analytics that fuel more effective threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR).
Silverfort Debuts its Identity-First Incident Response Solution
Silverfort, a unified identity security company, has announced details on its Identity-First Incident Response solution. This new offering aims to accelerate attack remediation times by complementing a company's existing incident response (IR) tools and helping users optimize their IR processes. Companies can use Silverfort's Identity-First Incident Response solution to block compromised user accounts in real-time, automatically flag risky users or computers, seamlessly integrate with existing security operations infrastructures, and analyze every login with precise risk analysis and MFA verifications.
