Darktrace Reveals the Findings From its 2025 State of AI Cybersecurity Report
Darktrace, a global AI for cybersecurity provider, has unveiled its 2025 State of AI Cybersecurity report. According to the survey's findings, 78 percent of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) say that AI-powered threats are having a significant impact on their organizations, marking a 5 percent increase from 2024. However, despite an increased number of CISOs reporting an impact from those threats, 60 percent of respondents say they are adequately prepared to defend against them. The report surveyed over 1,500 professionals in the cybersecurity industry, with respondents holding roles that ranged from CISO to IT security managers, IT security analysts, and incident responders across 14 different countries.
Devo Technology Appoints a New CEO
Devo Technology, a security data analytics company, has announced that Ken Naumann has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Walter Scott, who served as interim CEO, will continue to serve as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. In the announcement, Naumann says, "I deeply value the board’s confidence in me and am grateful to lead Devo forward...We'll remain committed to driving innovation and pioneering product advancements that help enterprises transform into data-driven organizations."
Progress Launches a New Web Application Firewall Functionality
Progress, an AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software provider, has introduced a Web Application Firewall (WAF) functionality to its MOVEit cloud-managed file transfer (MFT) solution. The new feature will help companies strengthen the security of their sensitive data by blocking malicious web traffic before it infiltrates a system. Additionally, the WAF functionality will ensure companies remain compliant with the latest standards, streamline their administration processes, and equip users with 24/7 monitoring, active alerts, and support from Progress security specialists.
Rubrik Introduces New Capabilities to its Solution Suite
Rubrik, a cyber resiliency provider, has announced several innovations to help clients enhance protection for their cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments. These new additions aim to provide users with the tools they need to anticipate breaches, detect potential threats, and recover with speed. The specific features added to Rubrik's solution include advanced security features for Azure and AWS, cloud posture risk management (CPR), and Identity Recovery, a new feature built to protect hybrid identity environments across Entra ID and Active Directory (AD).
SailPoint's Non-Employee Risk Management Achieves FedRAMP Moderate Authorization
SailPoint, an enterprise identity security solution provider, has announced that its Non-Employee Risk Management product has achieved FedRAMP Moderate authorization. This means that SailPoint can provide federal agencies, the defense industrial base, and other companies that have a federal contract with a secure and scalable platform for managing third-party identity in their extended workforces. Jim Russell, Vice President of Federal at SailPoint, says, "With FedRAMP authorization, agencies can confidently extend identity security beyond their federal employees, helping ensure secure access for third parties at scale."
