Identifications !!

“It’s not normal” yelled my friend and I shot back a glance at his disapproving face and sinked deeper in the seat. This was nothing usual we were talking about, it was a sensitive matter but what you believe you believe the years of conditioning cannot be pulled down to debris in a day.

Identifications are the hallmark of your fall down sooner or later. As we cling to these identifications our vision is clouded to the extent that we mouth others words and thoughts. There comes a time when the great grand universe gives you a chance to dismantle these but you behave like an ostrich simply thinking putting your head in the sand will make you invisible.

Identifications are not the true identity instead they are the barriers to the changes. In case you don’t keep up with these changes it’s likely you might be dropped out of the race sooner or later. You can be audacious and not adhere but lessons in history will always stand up as an evidence.

Why is dropping these identifications such a task and why would someone want to turn a blind eye. In a life

span of 40-70 years we gather things and believe that’s what we are instead of giving ourselves a chance, where we can live the new reality which could be a surprise.

I met someone who was a firm believer and follower of what their dad believed and lived by. Unfortunately the dad did not live up to see many more years and died. The person felt disillusioned and lost now that the GPS that the dad was had gone.

Eventually this is a plight of many who are a part of the herd mentality. The herd mentality is not a problem clinging to unreal beliefs which do not fit the present circumstances is a matter of great concern.

What happens when you bite the dust, with you the beliefs, traditions and memories can be seen to wither away. In case you are an accumulation of these identities soon your existence will be forgotten. This might sound crude but that’s the reality to which there is no escape.?

The beauty of dis-identifying yourself is like giving your self a chance to open up a new dimension or a new way of being. It is scary but atleast give it a chance to bring in the real emotions rather than the feared emotions…?

It’s easy to accumulate identifications as you go through life but that’s your real death before death actually touches you.
