The entrepreneur is akin to an artist creating a chef-d'oeuvre (masterpiece) element by element. There are so many components in a business that have to be brought together to complete the circuit to be able to deliver products and services that actually yield into excellent results. The entrepreneur is the architect that brings it all together in synchronization keeping a goal in mind and in most cases that goal is Profits for the Service or Product.

I firmly believe that ideating is one of the pillars to scale a business - both in range of services or products & markets beyond boundaries that were originally conceived in vision.

Ideating is basically thinking out of the box. It is looking at what is and what can be or even what ought to be in terms of market reach. Ideating for example could look at offering premium services for a premium price or reducing the price and branding the product service to reach a mass market where volumes could be serviced rather than smaller numbers.

Ideating is the method though which the tablet, mobile, laptop, walkman, ebook and many others have evolved. Let us look at the problem proposition publishing a book maybe i.e. 5 years earlier. Ideating could apply to almost every product or service available. The world is dynamic and consumer demands are changing rapidly therefore evolution is the name of the game. One tip to ideating is making or offering products and services that are in sync with the buzzwords of your time. Today some marketing buzzwords are 'Green, Zero Carbon, Minimalistic, Hi-Tech, Anti-Viral, High Immunity, Hand Made, Natural, Healthy, Herbal, Ayurvedic, etc.
