I think that we can all agree, the first half of 2021 has been challenging for almost everyone. I think small businesses have been hit the hardest. Many of them (you) have been operating with reduced staff, fewer business hours and smaller budgets in order to keep going. I'd like you to start the third quarter of 2021 on a more solid footing, and that means it's time to re-look, re-build, strengthen and execute your second half 2021 marketing plan. Here are a few things to think about when planning how you'll market your business in the second half of 2021.
1. Re-look at your audience. Customers and Recruitable employees
2.What is the same, what has changed?
3. Do you know who your customers are?
4. Do you know the kinds of problems you solve?
5.Identifying key buyer personas is an easy way to define your customers in terms of demographics, interests, and needs.
You can use these personas to segment and personalize you messaging, too!
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when thinking about your audience:
- Who are they, now?
- Where are they, now?
- What do they do, now?
- Do they have any major challenges, now?
- How can you help them overcome those challenges or do what they do better, now?
My next post, I am going to talk about investing or re-investing in Social Media. Planning, charting and navigating different oceans of social media.
Are you ready to stop chasing and start engaging and connecting with your ideal customers and employees, and stop convincing, persuading and defending? It's time to create opportunities for attracting and interacting with prospects and job candidates?
