The Employee of the Month (EOM) is a type of reward program given out by companies. It involves recognizing employees for achieving excellence in their field and being the best worker across all fields. Traditionally, the award is given out every month, but that is not necessarily the case.

Weekly focus group discussion.
A focus group could be defined as a group of interacting individuals having some common interest or characteristics, brought together by a moderator, who uses the group and its interaction as a way to gain information about a specific or focused issue.
A focus group is typically 7-10 people who are unfamiliar with each other. These participants are selected because they have certain characteristics in common that relate to the topic of the focus group. The moderator or interviewer creates a permissive and nurturing environment that encourages different perceptions and points of view, without pressuring participants to vote, plan or reach a consensus
The group discussion is conducted several times with similar types of participants to identify trends and patterns in perceptions. Careful and systematic analysis of the discussions provides clues and insights as to how a product, service, or opportunity is perceived by the group.

WHAT FOCUS GROUPS CAN TELL YOU:
Give information on how groups of people think or feel about a particular topic
Give greater insight into why certain opinions are held
Help improve the planning and design of new programs
Provide a means of evaluating existing programs
Produce insights for developing strategies for outreach
WHAT FOCUS GROUPS CAN NOT TELL YOU:
Valid information about individuals
Valid "before-and-after" information (how things have changed over time)
Information that you can apply generally to other groups of people
Because the idea of focus groups is to take advantage of group interactions, it is important to use the information at the group level, not the individual level. Focus groups are not a valid way to find out how much progress an individual client or participant has made toward his or her own goals. Also, because focus groups are usually made up of a very small number of people who voluntarily participate, you cannot assume that their views and perceptions represent those of other groups that might have slightly different characteristics. They are not "random samples".
Celebrate personal milestones
Schedule a fun event with your team members, such as going to lunch or throwing a small party. Did he/she just pass an important test or get a good grade on a tough project? Give them a treat! Schedule a massage, plan a celebration with all colleagues to make him/her that they are also very important to the rest of the employees working in the organization,
Wearing Cultural dress
Wearing traditional clothes represents national identity and love for them. Many people wearing the same traditional clothes together gives a feel of patriotism as well as connectivity in culture and with each other as well as a sense of belongingness with the country.
Potlucks create a positive vibe
Leadership can create an atmosphere of positive and creative energy, even during the worst of times. The key is to guide people to focus on something other than their woes and worries, something that makes them feel useful and productive. When people are contributing and can take pride in their accomplishments, they feel self-satisfied, energized, and relieved to have a respite from their concerns.
Employees take their cue from their leadership. If members of management—from senior executives to floor supervisors—telegraph the confidence and ability to guide the company through unstable times, the workforce will trust them to do just that.
Meditation time to manage work-life stress
Meditation on Friendliness?helps us drive away our negative thoughts and feelings and replace them with positive ones, this is so true, primarily about ourselves and then, consequently, about all living beings. Focusing on ourselves, without guilt or our ego getting in the way, is a necessary and sufficient condition for a happy life. Short Video
The video was introduced for entertainment purposes and since then, it has killed radio. They say “why read the book when you can watch the movie?”

Unfortunately, most companies use training and development solely for hiring the right talent but the two programs can do more than that. Once a company has hired the right people, training and developing them can retain them as well. And that improves your business continuity.

But due to limited budgets and small teams, it becomes a challenge for most learning and development professionals.
