Ideas aren't Worthless

As an entrepreneurship and media educator, I used to say that ideas themselves have no value, they are worthless; everyone has ideas.
I recently realized that the above is not different from saying that plant seeds have no intrinsic value, which is not the case.
However, just like a business or a creative idea, a seed, as valuable as it "potentially" is, can only reach its potential under certain conditions and in the presence of all the required elements.
Ideas can indeed have a significant intrinsic value to them, but their value can and will only flourish when all requirements are met.
I still believe that:
EVERYTHING successful WILL be replicated by many. You can't stop replication attempts, but your decisions and practices can make it easier or harder to do so.
