Probably our start-up success story it's a bit more successful because we took an early "wild" decision - that's actually one of our 4 core values.
Right at the very beginning - when we were assembling our fund-raising strategy and building our running MVP. We chose to build the ground of our platform partnering with on one of the first, most flexible and known cloud-computing companies in the world Salesforce.
At that time we were just a 2 month old start-up, with only 3 employees and few thousand Euros in our bank account. But we were convinced, as we are proving every day, that we are here to build something great, efficient and big.
Definitely when you envision those challenges and you add on top fast growth, competitor's pressure, greenfield market - you really need a reliable and adaptable solution as Salesforce is. It was never a question to build something from scratch - that would have brought a competitive disadvantage since we were the newest and smallest player at that time.
Here at BOOK A TIGER we consider ourselves also creative - that's why we saw in Salesforce almost infinite capabilities beyond the CRM definition and we went all in. We also saw that we could spice Salesforce with Node.js in order to get an even more flexible, resilient and fast-iterative platform.
Now after 16 months of that decision, present in 3 countries, with thousands of happy customers and cleaning professionals and thousands of processed transactions - we proved the point.
