I'm surprised I haven't had the IDEA before to post on the word IDEA. Two posts that mentioned IDEA have been:

9-19-16: You can RECYCLE things, ideas and jokes but not time ...

My INSPIRATION for the word IDEA today follows my last post on

4-24-17: Know the CERTAINTY OF NET BENEFIT to be comfortable with decisions

I presented and discussed this IDEA with a roomful of global leaders in evidence-based medicine, clinical practice guidelines, and systematic reviews. There was a lot of interest and support and we will be working on publishing this IDEA for a wider discourse.

An IDEA can be powerful -- once the IDEA is shared and the mind is aware it cannot be reversed -- the IDEA is planted and can grow as others contribute their IDEAS.
