I’d rather watch a video than read a video

Frequently, companies pepper videos with phrases and sentences in an effort to be creative. I always feel the brain has to do double duty because it has to keep switching from reading to image processing. If you’re going to display words in your videos, consider having a voice over professional simultaneously read them. This also tightens up your videos because you only need to show the words long enough for the narrator to speak them.

Words are for books, voice is for video (most of the time).
