I'd rather be a sheep in Gods pasture

Psalm 100:3 Know that the Lord is God.?It is he who made us, and we are his;?we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Being a sheep may not sound very appealing, but in reality, it is very freeing. It allows us to realize that we are who we are, and God is God. When we try to be more than that, we tend to try to be 'god' of our own little world, putting too much value on stuff, and creating goals that lead to emptiness. And when things go wrong, we have no one to lean on. When we let God be our shepherd, we are free to pursue dreams that honor Him, serve others and build His kingdom. If we start to stray, we have the shepherd to guide us back and give us strength. I'd rather be a sheep in God's pasture than a captain of a ship destined for destruction.
