Welcome to Best Execution's weekly round-up of our top stories for the week of 21-28 July!
This week was a big one from a macro perspective, with plenty of results being released - and plenty of rate moves to keep an eye on. Both the Fed and the ECB made their rate decisions, with the quarter point hikes coming as no surprise to the market - although the mood looks to have turned rather more doveish on both sides of the pond. In other news, AI interest continues to soar; while we also saw the Financial Conduct Authority raise concerns around transaction reporting, SIX Swiss Exchange report surging ETF volumes, and FlexTrade partner with Amundi Intermediation. And of course, we welcomed the ever-charming Dan. Royal of Janus Henderson Investors for the first edition of our new bi-monthly Buy-Side Perspectives series. Sit back, relax, and read on...
