Volli is solidified as the exclusive SIP trunk provider and backend developer for FORTINET and the FortiVoice platform. Volli’s work with Fortinet led to an innovative solution for them, one that allowed their cybersecurity clients in the telecommunications industry – who were already working remotely during COVID-19 pandemic times — to do so even more easily. With this cloud-based platform, Volli created new opportunities and saved businesses time by providing on-premise solutions.

The Need & Challenges

Volli had a subset of customers with less sophisticated technical capabilities, which created availability issues because they weren’t able to use Volli’s redundant services. Volli sought Gamma Force as a vCTO to help understand their technology platform and how they can create more resilient services for all their customers.

The Objectives

• Establish highly available telecommunications services between multiple geographically diverse physical data centers.
• Introduce engineering culture and practices to evolve people and process.
• Provide ongoing leadership, engineering, and project management to ensure the success of the project and sustainability of the capabilities.

Where are they now?

Gamma Force has worked with Volli to establish redundant network connectivity with BGP, which allows them to transparently move services between Columbus and Denver to ensure that all customers have a highly available and resilient telecommunications experience.
