ICO’s updated Guidance on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection

In response to requests from UK industry, the ICO has updated their Guidance on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection to clarify requirements for fairness in AI. This update supports the UK government's pro-innovation approach to AI regulation and intention to embed considerations of fairness into AI. We are collaborating with the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF) -?Competition and Markets Authority,?Ofcom,?Financial Conduct Authority?- to ensure our AI guidance is user friendly and reflects upcoming changes in relation to AI regulation and data protection.
