IConsult’s Sam Davies is Runner Up this year at the Cardiff Entrepreneur Wales Awards!

We are proud to announce that Sam Davies – Owner of IConsult Technical Limited, was this year’s Runner Up for “Micro Business Entrepreneur 2016” in the Entrepreneur Awards in Cardiff on Wednesday night at the Principality Stadium. We were invited to a Gala event, apparently 5000 welsh Business were entered this year.

We have only been going for 2 years and Sam is still under the age of thirty, so it’s a huge achievement for our business, and proof you can make a business successful on a nationwide scale from a small town like Denbigh!

The award for Micro Business Entrepreneur was for an Entrepreneur in Wales who had an original idea, supported the economy and was successful despite adversity with a well-established client base. We were the newest business in our Category and Sam was also the youngest nominee, the company that beat us was Cardiff based and had been established for quite a few more years than us.

IConsult is a specialist recruitment business established in Denbigh supplying the Geotechnical and Environmental Market with Engineers for major projects UK wide, we are well known in the UK for what we cover as a business and have a very small close knit team, we work with a number of multi-national consultancy groups supplying bespoke services in a very specialist area of the civil engineering market.

We also do what we can for charity and are currently looking for donations for our local Childrens Hospital this year. We also run a successful graduate scheme where we place graduates with clients of ours free of charge and use the donation money for our chosen Charity SENSE – for deaf and blind children, we have raised just over ￡2000 as a team this year with this scheme. We take donating to Charity quite seriously here, last year we raised almost ￡2k for Age Cymru too!

IConsult is really proud we put our town on the map in the Awards and hope we may win others in years to come! Thanks to everyone for their continued support to our Business.
