Iconic Houston Galleria Hotels announce the appointment of ELIZABETH OSTERMANN as Senior Sales Executive for International, Diplomatic and Entertainment Markets

Houston, Texas (Oct. 26, 2022) The Westin Galleria Houston and Westin Oaks Houston are proud to announce that Elizabeth Ostermann has joined the hotel complex as Senior Sales Executive for the International, Diplomatic and Entertainment markets.

Elizabeth graduated in Hotel & Restaurant Management with a Bachelor of Science and earned Cum Laude as a Dean’s list award recipient from the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College.?Elizabeth is passionate about working in Mexico, Central and South America and is fully fluent in Spanish. She has a strong focus in leisure travel and extensive experience in marketing guest room packages for International travelers looking to experience all that Houston has to offer.?Elizabeth has worked at several other premium hotels in the Houston market and is proud to now work at the prestigious Westin Galleria and Westin Oaks Galleria. The hotels are known for being a preferred destination for both U.S. and Mexico leisure and business travelers for more than four decades and are located in Houston’s most vibrant shopping area, the Galleria.

Travelers that have come to the hotels for decades will be blown away by the upgrades. The Westin Oak’s now has all king-sized beds in every single room, even the rooms with two beds. The Heavenly, Skyline and Texan luxury suites at the Westin Oaks are truly the some of the biggest and most stylish suites in Houston. And the Westin Galleria received the addition of a Club Lounge with sweeping views of the city, a new lobby with an intimate bar for evening gatherings and an expanded state of the art Fitness Studio featuring Peloton? bikes, upgraded treadmills, weight machines and really anything you need to stay in shape while on the road. The Westin Galleria and the Westin Oaks at the Galleria are both attached directly to the Galleria shopping complex. The hotels underwent a top to bottom renovation that was completed in February of 2020. The extensive remodeling touched all aspects of both hotels.

Renovation Highlights:

• he Westin Galleria added Club Lounge on the 24th Floor. An exclusive space with expansive views of the city available to qualified Bonvoy members and guests along with complimentary continental breakfast, mid-day snacks and beverages, open Mon-Fri.
• The Westin Galleria added elevated WestinWORKOUT? Fitness Studio with Peloton bikes and TRX equipment on the 24th Floor.
• The Westin Galleria added the Lobby Bar along with a transformative lively Lobby refresh.
• The Westin Galleria installed additional security measures including guest only access to the Galleria Mall, key-card access only in the guest tower elevators along with several other initiatives.
• ?The Westin Oaks converted all rooms to King beds, even rooms with two beds feature king beds.
• The Westin Oaks transformed the suites located on the 21st floor into fashionable, themed, luxury suites.

o The Heavenly Suite with a dressing room and wet bar ensuite along with the four-poster bed, custom tile mural above the free-standing soaking tub perfect for brides or girlfriend get-aways.

o??The 2,300 foot Texan Suite with a bedroom featuring floor to ceiling windows that look out over the Galleria and a beautiful leather faux brick accent wall in the Living area.

o??The Skyline Suite with an urban loft vibe, great for entertaining with a few close friends or colleagues.
