Ickle Bubba | June Update
Hello all,
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Welcome to the June edition of the Ickle Bubba Monthly Business Update...
Over the last six months, we have been focussed on delivering our digital transformation for speed and convenience across our customer contact channels.?We really wanted to maximise opportunity to ensure we are available through one of the most popular platforms that our customers engage with. As a result, we launched our WhatsApp messaging service channel direct to customers.?
We have seen the usage of this channel by customers significantly increase month on month since launch with an?average response rate under 2mins.?
The team are now looking to escalate the prominence of this as a communication channel to support not only our direct customers but also our retail partners. This furthers our commitment to improving communication and solidifying relationships with our Wholesale retailers.
IB Summer Event
Internally, we’ve been working hard to prepare for our first big in-person event at Ickle Bubba HQ since the pandemic. Work is well underway on the IB Summer Event, and it promises to bring our team around the country together for fun, games, drinks and maybe a little bit of work too….
Pulse Survey
Continuing our internal updates, we recently held an employee pulse survey to see how every member of our team feels about Ickle Bubba as an employer. These pulse surveys provide an important temperature check of team moral between our yearly Employee Surveys, and work alongside our monthly Listening Sessions.

The focus this time, was on improving communications and seeing how our team feels about our brand values and culture. Results were incredibly positive with a 6% increase on our overall People score and positive scores for both the way we communicate business updates and how clear our team is on the improves we make as a company.
We’re fully aware that these tasks are continuous as we strive to create a culture where everyone feels like every day can be a success, but we are committed to improving how we are as an employer to match the hard work, passion and dedication of our team.
Team updates
We've had a couple of new starters recently, which is always exciting news.?
First off, Sophie Robinson joined the Digital team as the new Digital Content Executive and, since then, we’ve also?welcome Charlotte Hills to the Marketing team. Charlotte joins us as Digital Marketing Manager.?It promises to be a very exciting time for the Marketing and Digital departments, and we look forward to seeing what ideas they bring to the table. Welcome to the team everyone!?
And that's it for this month!?
Thanks,?
