Icebreaking in practice

Starting a session or a training, we tend to use icebreakers as way to ease up the session. Look what I came across during my assignment with Swedish Maritime Administration (Sj?fartsverket). Yes the picture shows an icebreaker (Ymer). By the way, a fantastic organisation and so committed HR team!

I had the opportunity to be with the team during this year and since the service is 24/7, of course staying over at one is needed to better get to know the work onboard. Here some more pictures from the icebreaker Frej which I stayed with. Engine nerds: look for the 5 x 5000 hp machines.
